Last week Oblivia’s three weeks of action started with the opening of the Entertainment Island exhibition and lounge / launch of the Entertainment Island book and Oblivia’s 10 year anniversary book Att vara cool i barer… (To be cool in bars…) as well as the premiere of the third part of the Entertainment Island performance trilogy. Both are really great! And it feels so good to be reminded that you are working for a group that does really amazing art!
For me personally the biggest part of the three weeks of action is still coming. The seminar, Performing Popular Culture – Between Art and Entertainment, which I’m the coordinator of, is at the beginning of December and right now I have to get all the practical things working together. So it’s a lot of work and I believe I will be exhausted by the end of it. Exhausted, but happy!
If you are in Helsinki December 2-4, come to the seminar! It’s at Kiasma Theatre. You can register here by November 26, so this week’s Friday.
